Autumn doodles

Hi guys, just an idea for those of you who are bored with nothing to do in lockdown!

I decided to do an autumn-themed page of doodles (despite it being winter oops) and am hoping to get back to you with the three other seasons! ๐Ÿ˜€ p.s. don’t forget to comment your favourite doodle at the bottom of this post

I really love using autumnal colours when I’m doodling, because the warm oranges and golden yellows make the drawings seem calm and welcoming. Please, please send in photos of your attempts! I love seeing what you do and putting it on the Reader’s Gallery.

Materials used:

  • Sakura Pigma Micron (0.8mm)
  • Tombow Dual-tip Brush Pen (912)
  • Zebra Mildiners

If you don’t want to do an autumn theme, have a go at doing something else! I also like doing floral-themed doodles, but you do whatever you enjoy.

What kind of mood do you want your page to give off? Think about it! If you want to feel happy and bright when you look at your drawings, use happy, bright colours! If you’re feeling down and want to mirror that on the paper, use muted tones like greys and beiges. However, I don’t know about you, but when I’m feeling sad I want to look at things that make me happy! If you love watermelons, draw watermelons! If you love frogs, draw frogs!

Stick with a certain set of colours and your themed doodle page CAN’T go wrong. Even if your doodles don’t look how you wanted them to, the colour combinations will make you smile ;D

Now, don’t waste any more time listening to me. Get doodling!
